When Pact Construction broke ground on Ora Sorrento Apartments in August 2024, they needed a labour hire partner who could stay with the project for its full run, not just cover the opening months. The build was scheduled through to November 2026, long enough that headcount needs would shift several times before completion.
We’ve supplied 32 personnel to the project to date, across general labour, traffic control, dogman duties, telehandler, forklift and EWP operation, personnel and materials hoist operation, and ongoing site cleaning. That range reflects how a residential build actually runs. The roles needed in the first six months aren’t the roles needed in the last six.
The value for Pact hasn’t just been supplying people, it’s been supplying the right people as the project’s requirements changed. As the program moved through different stages, we adjusted the crew to match, rather than leaving Pact to manage that shift on their own.
Ora Sorrento Apartments is still underway, and Elite remains on site as the development continues toward completion.
